Stefano Pettinato is Senior Research Analyst at the Brookings Institution and at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He has a Master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and has been a consultant at the World Bank, ECLAC, and UNDP. His primary areas of research are the political economy of income distribution and mobility, and the empirical analysis of household surveys.
