Paolo Savona is Emeritus Professor of Economic Policy at LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome. He is former Ministry of Industry of the Italian Republic. He worked at the Bank of Italy and chaired several public as well as private bodies. He is Vice Chairman of the Aspen Institute Italia. In 2015 he was Jemolo Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford. He published extensively on money and finance. His latest book is Dalla fine del laissez-faire alla fine della liberal democrazia (From the end of laissez-faire to the end of liberal democracy), published by Rubbettino, 2016.
