Dustyn Lanz is Director, Research and Communications at the Responsible Investment Association (RIA). He is responsible for managing the RIA’s research projects and external communications. He also contributes to organizational development and represents the RIA at various public events.
In addition, Dustyn is an author and political economist interested in global governance, finance, and sustainability. His work on green bonds and financial governance has been published by the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, World Economics, and the Journal of International Organizations Studies.
Prior to joining the RIA, Dustyn was a Balsillie Fellow with CIGI. As a Balsillie Fellow, he made policy recommendations at the International Monetary Fund and conducted primary research at the Bank of Canada and Department of Finance Canada.
Dustyn holds a master’s degree in global governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs, University of Waterloo, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from York University.
