Faizel Ismail is currently Ambassador Permanent Representative of South Africa to the World Trade Organization. He holds an M.Phil degree in Development Studies (IDS, Sussex, UK), and BA and LLB degrees (Univ. of KZN, South Africa). He has published two books: Mainstreaming Development in the WTO: Developing Countries in the Doha Round (CUTS International 2007) and Reforming the World Trade Organization: Developing Countries in the Doha Round (CUTS International 2009).
